Metsoreitti Trail
The Metsoreitti trail runs across the municipality of Laukaa and forms the backbone of the local outdoor trail network. The route stretches from Jyväskylä to Suolahti and further to the shores of Lake Keitele and Äijälä, passing through the villages of Leppävesi, Vihtavuori, Laukaa, Peurunka, Kuusa and Haapala. There are 15 lean-to shelters and campfire huts along the way for breaks. In winter the trail is used for cross-country skiing, and during the snow-free season it is popular with walkers and cyclists. The trail is marked in the terrain with blue signs.

Peurunka & Multamäki Mountain Biking Trails
Around Peurunka and Multamäki there is an extensive network of mountain biking trails covering approximately 40 kilometres. The routes offer varied terrain suitable for both beginners and more experienced cyclists. The trail network can be easily accessed, for example, near the Kuusa Canal by Varjola.
