Saraakallio Rock Paintings
The Saraakallio rock paintings in Laukaa form the largest rock painting site in Fennoscandia. The dramatic cliffs and ancient paintings offer an impressive experience best enjoyed from the water. The site can be reached by cruise, canoe, kayak or boat from Laukaa harbour. Canoes and SUP boards can also be rented at the harbour. From the cottage, Saraakallio is about 1.5 km away by water.
